I'm not sure how I never heard about this place but it is truly a hidden gem in Indy. The service here gets an A+ as they are very attentive and friendly. All of the drinks are really solid and super good. The even better part is how amazing the food is. The wings are absolutely phenomenal and some of the best that I've had in a long time. Also tried the burger and fries and they were equally super tasty. Whoever is working back in that kitchen definitely deserves a raise! Very spacious with plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs in the speakeasy with an outdoor balcony. You definitely want to run and not walk to this place. Don't forget to try the wings and thank me later!

Went here with my partner today for the first time. We recently moved from east side and were hoping to find a good place to haunt. This is the place! The atmosphere was amazing, it wasn't too loud, and there's a digital jukebox where you can play music you like! The bartender/server was very sweet, made us feel at home, and overall gave us a wonderful first experience. The food is top quality for so so cheap, and the cook does an excellent job at what he does!! When we checked out, the bartender even asked for our names so he'd know us when we return, and I've never had someone do that before! So overall, absolutely incredible experience and if you love good music, an old timey vibe, service that makes you feel like family, and incredible food for a low price (and free refills on sodas and lemonade-oh yeah!) then this is the place for you! My partner and I love this place and us fellas will be returning VERY SOON!

Don't let the exterior fool you! This place is really nice and welcoming. The inside has been updated and looks great! It's clean, modern, and relaxed. The first floor is fairly small, so on busy nights I could see it getting a little cramped, but don't let that dissuade you! Even the bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Their food menu is small, but the chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza was really good. The BBQ sauce on top was a bit weird though. They had a good selection of drinks, however I think the kegerator was on the fritz because the beer I got was not cold, but still tasted fine. The bartender was incredibly friendly, and the owners came in at one point and seemed genuinely interested in getting customer feedback and asked about what sort of events would folks be interested in. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

I have to give Buzz and Mel 5 stars. The chicken dinner was so freaking delicious, the servings are for us big eaters. The fried chicken livers are also fire. I like their establishment, it's friendly and inviting. Only thing I'd like to see is, they get Jim Beam Redstag in. They have every other flavor but, Redstag. So glad I stopped in to try your food, certainly impressed and not at all disappointed. I look forward to the next time, you have won my business.

If you like a small, neighborhood bar with a super, duper queer friendly staff, look no further than Shelby Street Tavern! I suggest going on Tuesdays because they have fun Music Bingo! I have not had anything bad, food or drink-wise, since I've been going. If you get to try the homemade potato salad, do it! It's so effing good. Their Flatbread pizzas are also super tasty. I love going on Tuesdays (when I can), and I will, probably, start going more often. It just has an amazing vibe. 10/10 recommended!!!

This is like a slightly higher-end dive bar. Nice atmosphere, clean, friendly service, good food. We have tried the chicken tenders, wings, fish and chips, fries, and pretzel bites, and all were good. Nice place to watch a game or just hang out.
